Entrepreneur
Margaret is a born entrepreneur. When she was just nine, she set up a lemonade stand in New York. Aged 14, she started a ski business for students. These early experiences led to a 25-year career creating, and writing about, business in Ireland and the United States.
In 2006, Margaret founded Clear Ink. She built it from a tiny start-up specialising in clear English to what’s now a global brand communciations agency serving government bodies and some of the world’s largest organisations and multinationals.
In 2013, Margaret founded a second company, Broadly Speaking, a public-speaking and media training company for professionals. Her clients include Google, Electric Ireland, the Irish Association of Directors of Nursing and Midwifery, Ulster Bank, Dublin City University and the Houses of the Oireachtas.
