Margaret tries not to take life too seriously. This is probably a weird reaction to working in serious industries – business journalism and Wall St. – most of her life. To keep from laughing out loud during meetings she has exorcised her humour demons by writing columns for the Irish Times (Platform, Cents & Nonsense), the Irish Marketing Journal, everymonday.ie and insolvencyjournal.ie.
Margaret also likes to talk. A few radio programmes kindly let her blab to the nation. Her husband is so thankful that his ears get a break. She regularly contributes to the Tubridy Show (She loves Ryan. He is so like her brother)the Late Debate on RTE Radio One, Tom McGurk show on 4fm, BBC radio and television, TV3 and David McWilliam’s Leviathan political cabaret. Sometimes she also gets to “play pretend” as an American voiceover artist for television and radio.
